MANILA, Philippines – Philippine Airlines (PAL) is ramping up flights from the Queen City of the South beginning March with a new route to Catarman and more flights to Siargao.

PAL will now offer flights from Cebu to Catarman in Northern Samar and vice versa, with the maiden flight slated for March 1. The Cebu-Catarman-Cebu route will be offered three times a week, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

“Samar residents and travelers will now have better access to Cebu, and the new route will also give Cebuanos more options to visit Northern Samar,” Ang said.

Travelers from Catarman may go from Cebu to other local destinations such as Caticlan (Boracay), Clark, Busuanga (Coron), Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, Puerto Princesa, and Siargao.
