The Green Report: Why are Philippine cities sinking?

MANILA, Philippines – Metropolitan areas in the Philippines are sinking, a recent study from the University of the Philippines Resilience Institute (UPRI) and the National Institute of Geological Sciences found.

The study creates a baseline for concerned local governments to be proactive in planning for disaster mitigation as well as further development.
